About Me
Hi! My name is Cassandra M. Carrillo. I am a Bilingual Spanish speaking Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I graduated from the University of Southern California with my Masters in Social Work. I have 8+ years of experience working with children, teens, adults, and families. Throughout the years I have worked in mental health outpatient programs, non-profit organizations, field-based settings, and now in group & private practice. During this time I have gained immense knowledge in working with individuals who struggle with depression, anxiety, and trauma. Along with the knowledge I'ved gained throughout my career, I continue to attend trainings to ensure that I provide the necessary care for my clients.
My Approach
Throughout my experience as a therapist, I have been able to develop a diverse and holistic approach to treatment by getting to know all aspects of my client’s life. I am a straight-forward therapist, while still respecting and understanding where my client is in the present moment and letting them take lead. My ability to incorporate different treatment approaches allows me to individualize treatment for each client to meet their needs. I have been perfecting tools throughout my career to help individuals like you. We'll work collaboratively to help you address the current issues that are getting in the way of your daily life.
I pride myself on providing a safe and empathic space for my clients throughout their journey of self-empowerment and self-discovery. I know what it is like to sit on the couch and be vulnerable with a stranger. I believe the first step is finding a comfortable and safe space to begin the process of exploring your inner being. If allowed, therapy can be healing and empowering to make great change and long term progress in your life.
